Abhishek is an integrated marcom professional who strongly believes in the power of ideas to build brands and grow businesses. An ideas person, his expertise lies in providing effective creative solutions to diverse business problems. Being an integrated marketing communication professional, his work encompasses studying minds and the markets, discovering insights, developing strategies and executing campaigns across media platforms.
He has got opportunities to work on more than fifty global and regional brands across industries and create integrated campaigns as well as media specific communication that drove relevance and engagement for the brands. He has spearheaded and managed high decibel campaigns for big ticket accounts and has brought incredible results in his exciting career span of over a decade.
He is among the few professionals in this industry who has got well-rounded experience handling all gamut of advertising, be it ATL, BTL or digital. Having worked in both network and independent agencies, he has seen and lived both the worlds and understands different needs of different clients.
Being a hands-on manager, he supports his team in delivering effective solutions and achieving goals through thought-out strategy and dogged execution. Most of the young folks he recruited and mentored have moved up the ladder and are doing great in their arena.
Abhishek likes travelling to hills and enjoys gardening and workout. He dreams to be well heeled enough to afford a pristine cottage amidst nature in the hills and settle down there when over the hill.
THE BEGINNING

Armed with a masters in Life Sciences, started off as a research scholar with a CSIR institute only to realise that he was more interested in studying human minds than working with machines in the labs. Earned a doctorate degree in environmental sciences and got couple of research papers in published in indexed journals before quitting academic research to study mindspace and marketplace.
Obtained a master’s degree in mass communications and a postgraduate diploma in advertising and public relations besides doing distance learning programs in brand management and digital marketing from institutes like London Business School and University of Illinois.
Got his first break in the creative business as a copywriter with a boutique agency and since then there has been no looking back. While insights, ideas and creativity remained at the core of his offerings, he continued to juggle with account management, strategic planning and creative functions successfully in network and independent agencies.
